How To Grow Your Business Online Using The Simple Mall-Rent Formula
Visibility is currency: offline or online, it’s what drives growth

Introduction
Do you know what determines the rent prices of a physical store?
- It’s not the size of the shop.
- It’s not even the interiors.
- It’s the traffic, or the number of people walking past that store every single day.
The logic is simple
Higher footfall = Higher rent.
Why? Because higher traffic means higher chances of discovery. More discovery means more potential customers.
This same rule applies to malls, too. The busier the mall, the more expensive the store rentals inside. And businesses are willing to pay because visibility = opportunity.
Now, let’s translate this into the digital world.
Your business growth online doesn’t depend on how beautiful your website is.
- It doesn’t depend on how advanced your systems are.
- It depends on how many people actually see your business.
The more traffic you generate, the more people discover your brand.
The more people discover your brand, the higher the chances that some of them will eventually buy from you.
It’s the same principle — just without the physical roads and footpaths.
Instead, your website, social media, emails, and ads become the “digital street” where your business lives.
So the big question is:
Are you investing enough in getting people to see and discover your business online?
Because no matter how good your offer is, no one can buy from you… If they don’t even know you exist.
