The moment I tell someone that mastering the skill of sales is going to be the most rewarding decision for their career/ business, I get all sorts of looks.
I know of people who get weak in their knees the moment they hear the word “sales”.
However, I’m on a mission today to prove to you that sales isn’t complicated, difficult and as taxing as you imagine it to be.

Eradicating inhibitions from sales
Have you ever recommended a restaurant, a resort, an airline, a cafe, a dish, an apparel brand to someone in your network?
Did they end up buying that product/ service?
Did they end up liking that purchase?
Congratulations.
You just made a sale for another business, without realising and without getting paid any commission for your sale.
Sales is not about pushing product/ service to a prospect.
It’s all about understanding the need/ desire of the prospect, evaluating if your product/ service can fulfill the need of the prospect and offering them a solution.
Isn’t that exactly what you did when you made recommendations of all those places/ businesses to the people in your network.
You just managed to do that so effortlessly because you didn’t look at that as a sales conversation.
