Introduction
When does an idea turn into a business?
Understanding (and implementation) of the answer to this question is the real differentiator between an aspiring business owner and a thriving business.
However, you don’t have to risk your time/ energy/ effort by trying to start a business.
Reading this post will help you get the perspective that you’re looking for, and save you a lot of capital, emotions and failure.
The secret of success of every business
The one secret that every entrepreneur discovers about business is that schools will never give you access to a profitable business idea.
Think about this. Educational institutes act like a news bulletin that gives you information after an incident has occured.
Business is all about finding a gap in the market and filling that gap for your target customer, in the market.
The only advantage that education (and past work experience) brings to the table is a database of raw knowledge.
No entrepreneur managed to start and scale a business through a straightforward gap that was taught to them on the platter in a classroom.
You have to create a unique sliver of a market for your business and that’s only possible when you create it for yourself (and your business) through a unique business idea that you (and your team) are capable of creating and executing.
So, to build a business that scales, use the knowledge you’ve acquired from your education as a base, and build something upon it, one new, unique idea and one piece of execution at a time.
