The Epic Secret of Life: There Are No Silver Bullets
This post holds the capacity to liberate you
This may be the most unfiltered post you will read online in a while
(And at the end of the post, you will agree you NEEDED this)
First things first, for the uninformed, let's clarify what does the term silver bullet mean?
A simple search result will tell you that a silver bullet is "a simple and seemingly magical solution to a complicated problem".
Now with that cleared out of the way, I have some news for you.
Depending on your mindset, you may term this news to be good/ bad/ horrible.
The news is, there are absolutely no silver bullets in life.
People looking for hacks, shortcuts, tricks to game the system are either impatient, ill informed, or plain lazy.
Look at the profile of all the successful people and you will realise they rarely rely on concepts of short cuts or silver bullets.
They find a purpose/ mission for themselves, put those blinkers on, and get to work.
Depending on the industry, your target audience, market situations you may end up getting a few situations that give you an edge.
But these situations are temporary windows that help you cover a little extra distance in a shorter time span.
Nobody who's amassed disproportionate success (as compared to others operating in the same market) did so on the basis of hacks.
There is no alternative to working hard, refining your skills, delivering quality, staying persistent with your efforts, being resilient when the going gets tough... You get the drift.
Today, for every one person who's focused towards achieving a goal that may seem impossible, you will find thousands who are trying to game the system.
No points for guessing who will win at the end of the round.
The question I want you to answer for yourself is, "am I giving my best to my mission?"
I'll be happy to continue this conversation, so feel free to ask questions.
Let me know in the comments, if you needed to read this (as I claimed at the start)
