This Is The Easiest Way To Earn Trust When You're New In A Market
An idea that's so easy to adapt, you possibly can't go wrong with this one
The biggest hurdle that a new business has to cross is gaining trust
(The hurdle is relatively easy to overcome)
You just need to give your products/ service for FREE.
Now, before you start looking for tools/ weapons to find ways to harm me, give me a minute.
You don't need to give everything away for free, forever.
But you need to find ways to get your customers to SAMPLE YOUR PRODUCT.
Also, this is a fact of the business. Everyone does this to gain trust.
Reliance Jio gave away their services for months at a stretch to gain trust, right?
Even LinkedIn gives you their premium service to try for a few days before you make a commitment, right?
Giving the prospect a chance to try your product has multiple benefits:
01. You get more footfall to your store/ traffic to your website
02. Your target customer registers your brand and your offerings
03. You get word of mouth publicity
04. You get data of customers/ prospects who choose to take benefit of your free promotion
05. The customer uses your product/ service, and they understand how your offering is better than the alternative that they're used to.
These are just some of the obvious benefits. But this could end up being the best way to create your space in any market.
Build a network, build connections, build bonds and then build loyal customers.
Find a way to take the risk away from the life of the customer.
Show them that you're so confident about your product, that you're ready to give it away for free to earn the trust of the customer, because you care.
You will also get a lot of feedback that will allow you to enhance your customer experience.
If you're a service provider, give the first 2-3 deliverables for free. If you don't like the concept of giving value for free, give them a 90% discount.
This will ensure you only deal with high quality customers, who are ready to take a chance with a new player in the market.
Earn your trust and see how much easier the process of earning the profits gets, over time.
What do you think of this idea?
Can you think of brands that you're now loyal to, but your relationship with them started with a freebie?
Would you be implementing it in your business?
