When Your Intention is Right, the Universe Finds a Way
When your intention is correct, the universe will find a way to lead you to your ultimate success.
Here’s a story that proves it: The story of one of the most economical movies ever made in the Indian film industry.
The Story of Shahid (2012)
Shahid was directed by Hansal Mehta and starred Rajkummar Rao — back when he was an unknown face. The movie was made on a budget of just ₹35 lakhs.
(For perspective, that's often the daily budget for a typical Bollywood movie today!)
How?
Hansal Mehta was going through one of the worst phases of his career.
Rajkummar Rao was an unknown actor with little to no recognition.
Resources were extremely scarce — but the hustle, dedication, and hard work were relentless.
The Journey Was Far From Easy
It took 11 months just to shoot the film.
18 months more for post-production.
And another 18 months to finally get it released.
3+ years of effort for a movie that cost less than the catering budget of most big films.
The Outcome?
Shahid became a massive success.
It received critical acclaim and love from audiences all over.
It became the launchpad for Rajkummar Rao’s career.
It also laid the foundation for Hansal Mehta’s new empire as a filmmaker.
