Think about the 5 people you spend the most amount of your time with? These people could be your colleagues, your spouse, your family members, your peers, your friends, etc.
Just create a list of these 5 people.
What you’re holding is a roadmap of your current life.
I may/ may not know you personally, but I can guarantee the following:
01 - You live in homes which are very similar to the people you’ve mentioned in your list
02 - The primary mode of transport in your life/ the car you drive is very similar to the people you’ve mentioned in your list
03 - You bank balance is very similar to the people you’ve mentioned in your list
04 - Your likes/ dislikes about most aspects of your life, if not all are very similar to the people you’ve mentioned in your list
Your life is truly the average of these 5 people.
Now, if you’re unhappy with any aspect of your life, I can bet these 5 people are also dealing with the challenge that is bothering you, OR they’re incapable of helping you to get a solution to the challenges you’re facing.
Want to change the trajectory of your life?
You don’t need to eliminate these people from your life, but you definitely need to find more people who you can learn from, look up to, get to know better if you’re really serious about improving the overall quality of your life.
