Make AIs Most Obvious Weakness Your Most Spectacular Strength
Let's help you destroy insecurities associated with Artificial Intelligence taking over your job sooner than later.
AI vs. Humans
Let’s face it. Right from the day Artificial Intelligence (AI) bots have been released for public use, and become commonplace, one question that keeps circulating across all media sources.
The question is, “Will AI overtake all human jobs, and will AI replace humans?”
Let’s get clarity on this subject once and for all.
First things first, let’s understand the current state of AI.
The current state of AI
At best, the current state of AI can be compared to the first version of any/ all search engines.
Also, by the way, let me clarify, I’m not talking about the first version of Google, which is the market leader in the category today.
I’m talking about the first version of search engine, on the whole.
Less than 5% of the entire population on the internet today, would have accessed the first version of search engine, way back in the 1990s.
A large part of the people who are spending maximum time on a digital screen were not even born at that time.
The first version of search engines was rudimentary, full of bugs, and unreliable.
AI today is more or less at a similar stage today (compared to its true potential).
So, how will AI replace human jobs, and by when?
Will AI replace all human jobs?
The short answer, yes.
However, will AI make all humans redundant?
Absolutely not.
AI is a tool.
A tool only makes jobs/ lives of humans easier.
Did humans lose jobs when computers started getting affordable and offices/ banks started buying computers?
Absolutely, yes.
Did computers make humans redundant?
No.
Computers just forced humans to upgrade their skills and get the same amount of work done a lot faster, effectively, and accurately.
Computers only affected the livelihoods of those humans who refused to adapt to the change and learn how to use the computer.
Large scale implementation of AI will be a lot faster, but still complete adoption of the technology and reliability of the technology is at least a decade away from today.
Today, the AI models are buggy, they hallucinate, the answers are unreliable, the answers/ results don’t feel humanlike, and there are innumerable smaller challenges that will take time to solve.
If I were you, I’d figure out how AI will enhance every aspect of business in my domain/ area of expertise and find a niche within my industry, wherein I can use AI to deliver the best, and the fastest results.
The future of digital work looks really exciting when AI will become more commonplace (and reliable)
Let’s understand the long term
In the future, AI will play a role in every aspect of your digital life.
What takes you an hour today will get done in 10 minutes or less.
Companies will become a lot more efficient.
The workforce in every company will become a lot smaller because a lot of repetitive, manual, boring (for humans) tasks will get automated and will be taken over by AI bots and SAAS.
However, AI will never be able to learn one skill.
And this one skill is where you can excel and create an AI-proof career/ business for yourself, for another 2-3 decades, at least.
What is AI’s biggest weakness?
Are you ready to learn the biggest blind spot of all AI bots as of today?
AI lacks “human touch”.
Yes.
I know this is obvious, but what’s not obvious is the impact of this weakness and more importantly the gap of opportunity this one situation creates.
AI is great to get analytical, systematic responses.
However, humans are extremely emotional.
We do not like to connect with robots/ robotic voices/ chat with bots.
AI will take at least 2-3 decades to decode how to identify the current state of humans and connect with us in what can best be described as a digitally-coded-empathetic manner.
What’s even worse (for AI, and a big advantage for you), who knows even after the AI bots learn to use their coding algorithms to seem empathetic, if we humans will adapt to those changes.
What if humans never feel comfortable interacting with AI bots beyond a couple of minutes of mundane interaction?
How can you capitalize on this weakness?
Here is where you can capitalize big time on this situation.
Find an empathetic, human, non-AI replicable aspect of your industry.
In content creation, and coaching, AI will make my life a lot easier.
But it will never be able to write a 1000-word post like this with the right tonality, examples of empathy.
And if you’re still reading, the parasocial bond that is being generated between my words and your mindset is incomprehensible for AI to understand, decode, and replicate for millions of people at large.
Look closely and find what aspect of your industry is highly human dependent (not process dependent) and find a way to master that aspect of your career.
Your Thoughts?
Do you agree with my hypothesis/ analysis?
Do you see the logic in my argument?
Do you think your job is in a threat or are you excited to start using AI in your daily work and become more productive and unlock better financial/ career/ business growth for yourself?
