Building Your Personal Brand? You Will Need This Secret Hack
The only one thing you need to remember (and keep repeating) to build your personal brand
Building a personal brand could be the easiest or the most difficult task you will undertake in your life.
It all depends on how you approach the entire process, what’s your attitude to the entire exercise and what’s your long-term goal (with your personal brand).
Building a personal brand isn’t difficult at all. It’s just a process which is time consuming (if/ when done right).
Why does it take time, you wonder?
Well, simply because, you’re at the mercy of the platform on which you’re posting content and building your personal brand.

Every platform today has millions of creators who are using every growth hack in the book to gain the attention of the audience.
So, in effect you’re competing with the celebrities, the creators who are traveling the world, the sports stars, the supermodels, the kid around the block who’s trying his luck with the latest trending audio and every other quality content creator from across the globe.
As a result, if you’re planning to get into the content creation game, it's best (read: essential) that you enter the arena with the right expectations and take the necessary steps to build a brand that resonates with your target audience, with most of your posts.
Wondering how you can achieve that?
It’s simpler than you think actually.
Apply a simple 3-point check list in every piece of content that you post online:
01. Create content that helps, and adds value:
Every piece of content is an opportunity to add value in the life of your audience members. Irrespective of your niche, always be proud of the quality of the content before you hit Upload.
02. Add a story/ personal angle:
This is the simplest, easiest and the most authentic way to make your content unique.
What’s your experience/ opinion/ point of view that is not easily available to someone who’s not a part of your domain expertise and trying to learn from you.
Your story/ personal angle also helps to create a strong connection with your audience and builds loyalty over time.
03. Consistency:
This is the most underrated feature in the life of a content creator. Your audience must know when they can expect the next piece of content from you, and you must always deliver.
Your content may be just a 15-20 mins of engagement in the life of your audience, but every piece of content is a part of you, a representation of your personality, your life on the internet.
Being consistent with your content reflects your commitment to your audience and that makes it easier for your audience to trust you in the long run.
Let me know if these points resonate with you and if you’d like to add something else to this list. Let’s continue this conversation in the comments.
