One Skill That Can Multiply Your Net Worth: Communication
This one skill that gets used and applied in multiple aspects of life, every day.
Communication is by far one of the easiest superpowers that you can earn/ achieve.
Yes. This is neither exaggeration, nor is this any sort of a dramatization.
Look at every/ any person who’s earned respect/ love/ adoration from the society and you will find one thing in common in all of them.
Yes, in all of them. Without any exception whatsoever.
The common thread that connects all mavericks and achievers is their communication skills.
Your levels of success are directly proportional to your communication skills.
The more people you’re able to connect with, the more people you manage to influence, the more people who listen to you with trust add up to your levels of success.
Want to earn immense wealth?
Your communication skills will help you become a salesperson to reckon with.
Have really large ambitions?
Your communication prowess will help you craft a vision so clear you can get your team members to share/ support your vision and walk in the right direction in unison.
Want to become a content creator that the target audience loves and trusts over all others in the scene?
Your communication will allow you to create a connection that your contemporaries can only hope and dream about.
Clear and confident communication isn’t just a skill, it’s an underrated superpower.
Trust and attention today are a lot more monetizable commodity than the sheer force of number of followers/ subscribers/ customers.
The game of business has moved on from total customers to average order value.
You don’t have to bother about influencing a million people and hope a couple of thousands end up clicking on the link and giving you business.
You’d be much better off with just 10,000 followers but a community so strong that 15-20% of those trust you blindly.
Building a following is a skill, building a loyal following is a responsibility.
And at every step of the way in your life, you will find that communication doesn’t just play an influential role, in most cases, clear and confident communication is the minimum requirement, and you will build layers upon layers over the platform of your communication.
So, if I were to suggest you master one skill, hone one skill, continue learning just one skill till the last day of your life, no prizes for guessing which skill would get my vote.
Do you think my thought process has any merit?
Or do you think people can succeed and achieve tremendous success, even if they’re average/ mediocre with their communication skills, or lack thereof?
